An emerald cut diamond, set east-west in the MARLII LAB cutaway setting with compass claws.
The horizontal setting gives the emerald cut a more relaxed, unexpected presence — graphic, low across the hand, and quietly assured. Its step-cut facets bring a clean, mirror-like stillness, while the compass claws add a subtle sculptural detail. From the side, the open cutaway profile allows light to move beneath the stone, keeping the setting light and refined.
