WARRANTY COVERAGE


ENGAGEMENT AND WEDDING RINGS

All MARLII LAB engagement and wedding rings are covered by a lifetime warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing faults. A valid proof of purchase is required.


READY-TO-WEAR JEWELLERY

All MARLII LAB ready-to-wear jewellery is covered by a three-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing faults. A valid proof of purchase is required.


WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS

Within the applicable warranty period, if your jewellery requires repair due to a manufacturing fault, MARLII LAB will provide repair and servicing at no charge. To submit a warranty claim, please use our online repair portal.


WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Our warranty does not cover:

• General wear and tear, including scratches, surface marks, tarnishing, oxidation, fading of plating, and minor deterioration over time
• Broken chains
• Scratched, cracked, chipped, or marked stones
• Bent or misshapen rings, earrings, or settings
• Metal corrosion or discolouration
• Damage caused by inappropriate wear, accidental damage, improper care, or failure to follow maintenance advice
• Lost stones where damage or wear was not addressed when first noticed
• Loss or theft
• Repairs, maintenance, resizing, or alterations carried out by another jeweller without prior written approval from MARLII LAB
• Pieces submitted without valid proof of purchase
• Claims made by anyone other than the original purchaser

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS

The lifetime warranty:

• Applies only to manufacturing faults
• Is non-transferable
• Applies only to the original purchaser
• Requires valid proof of purchase for all claims

REPAIRS OUTSIDE WARRANTY

Even if your warranty period has expired, or if you are unable to provide proof of purchase, we are still happy to help maintain the beauty and longevity of your jewellery.

MARLII LAB offers repair services for the lifetime of your piece for a nominal fee. To arrange an assessment and repair quote, please use our online repair portal.


LOST OR STOLEN JEWELLERY

Unfortunately, loss or theft is not covered under our warranty.

We recommend contacting your home, contents, or travel insurer directly. If you require proof of purchase documentation to support your insurance claim, please contact us at hello@marliilab.com.


CARE AND MAINTENANCE

We are happy to assess any MARLII LAB piece and provide cleaning advice and guidance on how to properly care for your jewellery. Regular maintenance is important to preserve the beauty, integrity, and longevity of your piece.


AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. MARLII LAB complies with all consumer guarantees available under the law.
