Each centre diamond is selected individually for cut, proportion and how it presents on the hand.
The double band splits and the stone sits offset between the two, so the ring is asymmetric by design and reads differently depending on the angle. The pear's point drives that movement, and the compass claws hold it without interrupting the line. This is one of the few settings where a wedding band is better chosen after the ring, not with it.
Every MARLII LAB engagement ring is made to order and crafted by hand in Australia. Please allow 10-12 weeks once your design and centre diamond are confirmed.
The setting is made around the proportions of your chosen diamond rather than pulled from stock or adapted from a finished ring. The timeframe gives the workshop room to make and finish the piece properly, without rushing the details that matter.
