Each centre diamond is selected individually for cut, proportion and how it presents on the hand.
Compass claws sit at the four points rather than the corners, so the pear reads as a clean silhouette from above with nothing crossing its outline. The point is the most vulnerable part of a pear, and setting it this way protects it without a heavier claw. Pears vary widely in shoulder shape and length; we select for a balanced belly and a point that sits square to the finger.

The setting is made around the proportions of your chosen diamond rather than pulled from stock or adapted from a finished ring. The timeframe gives the workshop room to make and finish the piece properly, without rushing the details that matter.
